iRiver SPINN MP4 Player
One of the problems I have came across with mp3 players is that they are too complicated to use. You are trying to play your favorite tune, and have to remember what button to push, or what sequence of buttons to use. By the time you figure it out, if you are like me, you have either turned the thing off, or are being asked if you want to delete the song. Well, iRiver tries to solve those problems with the release of the SPINN MP4 Player. The thing iRiver wants to promote with this player is a new type of “toggle wheel” which should make it easier to find the tunes you want. Ah, back to analog technology. Features include a photo viewer, FM tuner, recording capability, Flash games (including Flash 2.0), a text viewer, and even a dictionary. The screen is a 3.2 inch WQVGA TFT-LCD with 480×272 resolution. Not to mention it is Blue tooth Stereo compatible.
The iRiver SPINN should be available sometime in the Spring. A price is not determined yet.
