Canon announces the new EOS Rebel XSi with 12.2MP resolution. This puts my 8MP to shame! The Canon Rebel XSi entry-level SLR camera incorporates many new features found in the professional DSLR line of Canon. New features of the Rebel XSi include improved auto focus sensor, enhanced 14-bit A/D conversion, an advanced Live View function, 3-inch LCD monitor, and DIGIC III image processor. And it supports the more than 60 compatible Canon EF and EF-S lenses. This product is expected to ship in April of 2008. It’s already available for preorder on Amazon.com
