Organic Rice Hull Herb Garden
For about $16 each, you can be the proud owner of these indoor/outdoor herb gardens from a company called UncommonGoods. The pots that the gardens come in are biodegradable because they are made of renewable grain husks, which are mainly Rice Hull. Hence the name, Organic Rice Hull Herb Garden. They come included with soil and seeds to grow lemon basil, garlic chives, or parsley. So far, these are the only choices that are available. They would make a great house warming gift.

The Rice Hulls Gardens are not called “organic” because the pot is organic. The pot is organic, but so are the seed and soil. The whole kit is certified organic by the USDA!
