Most of us have no problems converting movies or tv shows to our iPods. But for those of you that are converting challenged, this gadget should help. The iRecorder attaches to your TV’s output jacks (if it has RCA Jacks). Plug it in directly to the iRecorder, and let it do its stuff. Once it’s recorded on the device, you can transfer it to your iPod via the USB jack on the iRecorder. They will be automatically compressed, without the need of software. The only thing I don’t like is that you will have to use iTunes to upload the files to your device. It also comes with an included remote to program the iRecorder to record your favorite shows. Sells for about $100.
