If you love blended beverages, but don’t like to lug a blender around all the time, this device is for you. Oster has introduced the Beehive Blend-N-Go Cup. I guess the reason they call it Beehive, is because of the design of the cup itself. All you do is place the ingredients in the cup, put on the lid, and away you go. To drink, just unscrew the lid, remove the blade (important), and chug away. One customer review on the site states this: “It does what it is supposed to do. No problems and I use it every day. Obviously, it’s battery operated. Price was unavailable at this writing.

If you own a HTC-based product (a lot of smartphones are HTC Based), you should take notice of this gadget. It is a 3-in-1 EXTUSB Headphone Adapter that allows you to use a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone with your HTC devices instead of HTC’s proprietary headphones which are usually of much less quality when it comes to audio performance. And if that isn’t enough, you can also hook up a microphone to it as well while the additional USB port offers an extra way for charging your HTC Device. Cost is about $15.00.

The Company Called Parrot has introduced a new line of digital picture frames, this one being the DF7220. According to the product website, the frame can hold 300 photos, with an SD/MMC card. The photos are automatically adjusted to fit the 7 inch frame. And you can manually adjust for vertical and horizontal photos by simply turning the frame to the side. Buttons on the back of the frame allow you to make a slideshow, arrange photos, and even delete pictures.

“The DF7220 is a complex piece of hardware, yet is simple to use. All I had to was plug the frame in an ordinary wall outlet, and it was ready to download pictures. Then I plugged in the USB into frame and transferred the files from a computer with a simple Cut and Paste procedure. There is also the option of downloading via Bluetooth from a mobile phone or camera.”

It should be available soon. No word yet on a price.

I have yet to find a Bluetooth Stereo Headset that I really like. Perhaps this is the one. Capella is introducing a necklace-type Bluetooth Stereo Headset known as Capella UIBS-700. The headset features an auto switching function as well as hands-free support, so you can concentrate on the traffic ahead, instead of fumbling around for your device. It also has a speaker phone function, an LCD display, USB charging, 8 hours of playback time, and 200 hours of standby time. Cost was unavailable as of this post.

One of the most boring things I can think of is sitting in that waiting room waiting for the Doctor to call you in. The people at Phillips have a gadget that uses low-energy light technology to create a soothing environment for the Mercy Medical Centere in Rogers, Arkansas.

“This installation, displayed in the Women’s and Children’s waiting area, is a 14-ft long, 6ft-high canvas that uses touchscreen technology to animate 1,420 LEDs. Each ‘painting’ a visitor produces last for a few minutes before fading away, and up to six ‘artists’ can make their mark at a time. Despite the apparent power of the canvas, it only uses the same amount of daily energy as a toaster! “

This three stage electric knife sharpener was top rated by a major testing firm for sharpening ability, ease of use, and features. It sharpens knives in a different and better way by grinding a double beveled edge that is suppose to be sharper, and stay sharper longer.

“The device has three slots that each perform different sharpening functions, only requiring you to slide the knife blade through the slots; the first sharpens the blade using 100% diamond abrasives, the second has a hardened miniature steel that forms an edge with microscopic serrations, and the third uses a patented stropping disk to polish the edge. “

Cost is about $150

Remember those big floppy discs that you use to wag around before cd’s and flash drives came into existence? Well this item will remind you of the good ole days every time you sit your drink down on the table. They are coasters in the shape of floppy discs made of vinyl and foam. I say that someone should invent a coaster out of a cd that you can sit a glass on, not one that you tried to burn unsuccessfully.

If you are one of those people that always look in the mirror, and adore yourself, than this gadget is for you. Especially if you love the sound of your own voice. The USB Parrot plugs right into your USB port, and will parrot back what he hears. Try to keep it clean, especially if you have kids around. If you are interested in this, you might consider therapy.
