I’ve never heard of MemoryKick, but these drives look pretty appealing. They come in aluminum casings, and are 1.8 inch drives that weigh only 3.3 ounces. They connect via USB 2.0. They are available in 20, 30, 40, and 60 Gig sizes, perfect for backups. Colors are gray, blue, red, gold, or silver and retail anywhere from $64 to $109.

The 8GB SanDisk Cruzer Fleur is just for the ladies. And naturally, they come in pink. One cool thing about them that we are seeing more and more of these days is the retractable cap. It slides back to reveal the USB Plug. I like this type of casing much better than those caps that you would always end up leaving or loosing somewhere. Cost is about $80.

I don’t know about you, but I love smoked meat. Smokers give the meat such a great taste, and keep it juicy. Now you can smoke fish, meats, and vegetables right on your stovetop with the Stovetop Smoker. It comes with four types of wood chips for different smoked flavors, but you can use your favorite. It also has a drip tray that collects fat while the smoker is smokin. Made of heavy gauge stainless steel. Size is 7×11. It also comes with a recipe book.

Laptops give off a lot of heat. And that heat seems to do nothing but ionize into the atmosphere. Here is a concept from Dormino. The Dormino Mouse.
“The DORmino mouse takes all of that wasted heat and uses it to power a wireless mouse, utilizing silicon nanowires embedded in a pad that sits underneath your laptop, a thermoelectric converter, and an induction coil inside the mouse to transfer power up from the pad. The mouse itself has a touchscreen scroller and a bluetooth interface, and the pad rolls up for easy portability.” It sounds way too complicated to ever be mass produced, but who knows.
