Here is a truly portable Micro SD Card projector. It runs on 4 AA batteries. And I have sources that tell me the images are pretty good. It has a built in MicroSD, and several ports for attaching such things as DVD players, Blu-ray players, or a video game console. Battery Life is not available, however. Cost is about $200.
Canon’s HG10 is suppose to be the “world’s smallest hard drive based high definition camcorder”. I’m not going to argue; it weighs in at just under 20 ounces, and that’s with the battery included. The device also has 40 GB of storage space, which computes out to about 5 and a half hours of recording, at the highest quality setting. It supports full HD (1920X1080) and cost is about $1200.
This 20 inch LCD HDTV from VIZIO won the RED DOT award at the CES show for its elegant design. It is 3.6 inches thin, meaning that it’s ultra slim, and well suited for small places such as home offices, kitchens, dorms, bedrooms, and even smaller rooms. Like I said, it’s high definition with “integrated standard and high definition NTSC/ATSC/clear QAM digital tuner including 1080i and 720P you can enjoy the HD that is already offered by cable and satellite networks.” It is offered with a piano black bezel wrap-around, and also in white. And it would be great to use as a PC monitor. Price is around $399.
The Squeezebox Duet has been released recently from Logitech. What the Squeezebox is is a multi-zone wireless network that uses a handheld RF remote. The remote has a cool 2.4 LCD screen where you can access your music library with its built in scroll wheel. And you can also use it to receive thousands of on line radio stations. Rhapsody and Pandora are also available. The cost is about $400, and will be available in the US and Europe this month.
Polaroid is still in business, and has been making LCD screens for some time now. The Definia is Polaroid first attempt at making it on the mainstream LCD TV market. It’s true, Polaroid doesn’t seem to advertise much, so maybe thats why their products are a bit less expensive than some.

Sony has a new portable TV that it has just introduced. It has a pretty nice feature, it has two gigs of memory to record up to 10 hours of programming. However, it only comes with a mono speaker.
