Let your computer warm your food.
We’ve all seen thousands of USB gadgets and to be honest, after a while it just gets boring. Most of the stuff ist completely usless and not even worth an article about it. I decided to make an exeption, because this time, the UBS powered lunch bag / warmer is actually bringing some benefit to the table. I have no idea, how well this thing works. But if it can really keep the food warm (or even heaten it up? Don’t know about that..), it would be worth a shot. Hey, I’m not granted a lunch break anyway, but warm food would be a serious gain of life quality. Say thank you to Thanko and pay $22, but unfortunately in Japan only (via crunchgear).

This is quite a contraption. This egg cracker is designed to slice the shell of your soft or hard-boiled egg. You place the metal cap on the egg and let the ball drop down and supposedly the egg shell cracks in half. This cracker has a Swarovski crystal in the rubber top to add a little luxury to your morning.

Well it’s time to put down those scissors, and stop cutting that lettuce. After all, I guess that’s the easiest way to make a salad, right? Well, now you can quickly prep salads with little effort. This durable plastic lettuce cutter has a one piece design, and it won’t oxidize the greens either. And guess what? It’s dishwasher safe.

If you have a lot of extra money to spend (don’t we all!), here is a product that will not leave much left in your wallet. It’s called the Crystral-Encrusted Toaster. and it can be found at Neiman Marcus for a mere $300.00. It has a glass and steel casing and over 200 Swarovski crystals covering it. Does it make good toast? Who cares?

We do a lot of things in the kitchen besides cook. Most of my mail goes straight to the kitchen table, where I open it, and toss all the junk in the trash. Now days, it’s a good idea to shred everything you throw away, to prevent identity theft. The Ziszor is the answer to kitchen shredders.

I love pancakes. But let’s face it, every time you make a batch in the kitchen, you end up making a mess. Batter Blaster is a product much like another called Easy Cheese, except more organic, and less cheesy. The Batter Blaster makes organic light and fluffy pancakes and waffles in minutes. It is a pressurized can with pancake batter in it. Just shoot it in that pan, and enjoy mmmmm goood pancakes.

The DoneRight Timer

I guess this is for all you cooking professionals out there. The DoneRight Timer is five timers in one. That means that you can have five things cooking, all at one time, and this gadget will keep track of them. The only thing I would use this for is keeping track of cooking 5 frozen dinners at one time. But then I would have to have five microwaves. It’s made of Plastic, and it features easy-to-set operation. It also has LCD displays. About $30

Well, I’m a little late for Easter gadgets, but here is one I came across. It’s a thermoplastic resin (plastic, I guess) Bunny and Carrot Paper Towel Holder. The carrot, which you place the towels on, stands about thirteen and a half inches tall, about the width of the roll. I guess it would be great to see this unique paper towel holder year round.

The Chalkboard Napkin Rings are made by physically challenged people in Germany. They double as reusable place cards and napkin rings. All you have to do is write the names of the guests that you are over for dinner directly onto the napkin rings with the included special slate pencil. When you are done, you can remove them with the sponge eraser. They are made of lacquered untreated maple.
