Auto Focus Eletrolux Oven Uses Sensors To Cook Just Right

This new oven from Electrolux is called the Inspiro. It has, what the company calls “auto-focus”, meaning that it is suppose to automatically pick the proper cook settings based on the contents of the oven. How does it do this? Well it has an array of sensors that are suppose to determine the exact combination of energy consumption and time needed to bring food to the correct temperature. The company says “it works in much the same way as you set a camera for aperture, exposure time, and focus, depending on the light and what’s in the frame”. Cool idea, I just wonder how well it works. Its not quite available, but will be soon. No price has been disclosed.

I remember one day not long ago I was ready for that first cup of coffee. I got up out of bed, stumbled into the kitchen, and turned on the coffee pot. When the brew was ready, and I reached for the sugar bowl, but there was no sugar. Now, I HAVE to have sweetened coffee, but I didn’t feel like making a trip to the store. So I decided to use some honey. I figured honey was a natural sweetener, and to my surprise, I liked the taste of my coffee with the honey in it better than the sugar. To this day, I prefer honey over sugar. But honey can make a big mess. Well, here is a pretty cool item. The Honey Drop solid honey you can hold. Each is an individual serving (one teaspoon) of 100% pure dried honey. So you have everything there but the mess. Price is $11.99 for a box of 20.
