One of the most annoying sounds around is the sound of that alarm clock in the morning. If you are like me, most of the time you push that snooze button for a few extra minutes of precious sleep. Here is an alternate way to turn off that alarm. The Laser Target Alarm Clock. In order to stop that alarm, you have to aim the laser gun at the target. According to the website, this concentration may give you the ability to wake.

How many times have you lost that damn remote, or misplaces those car keys? Usually you find them in places such as the couch, under the bed, or (with glasses) already on your head! This gadget helps you find lost items. It can be used to find almost anything, with a homing key attached to it, using RFID to guide you to within an inch of the object! According to the site: “Unlike anything else currently available the Loc8tor’s audio and visual cues from the handheld point you in the right direction and will guide you to the exact location of the missing Tag / item whether it’s stuffed down the back of the sofa or left behind in a shop. It will literally take you minutes (even seconds) to find things that would normally have you hunting around for hours and maybe never found at all.” Pretty Cool!!

Z-Wave offers a multitude of options to control home devices such as lamps, alarm systems, and many more. Up until now, MAC users could not access Z-Wave, because it was Windows based only. Now there is a device that makes MACs and Z-Wave compatable. Mac users simply plug in the USB dongle, install the bundled Houseport software and go wild creating and managing their home network. When all is said and done, OS X users will be able to “control light switches, appliances, electronics, thermostats and other Z-Wave-enabled devices from their computers or through the internet” — a feat previously only achievable by booting into Windows.

Here is a gadget that claims to be able to measure the amount of fat deep inside of you, even around your organs. Do we really need to know this information? The AB-101 made by Tanika Corp does its fat reading in about 30 seconds while you lay on your back. Most of us know when we need to loose a few pounds. But this gadget does more than just that. It gives a precise reading, as to where you stand in the blubber war.

This has to be the greatest looking toaster I have ever seen. If you have nothing else to do, and have always wanted to actually see your bread turn into toast, this gadget is for you. A toaster that is a work of art! Actually, I can see how this gadget has some real benefit to the user. I know that unless you get that temperature dial set just right on your toaster, the toast either comes out burnt, or not brown enough. With this, you’ll be able to see exactly what’s going on with the toast, without having to flip up that lever. It has, what the website claims is “Heating Edge Technology”. Now your toaster can be turned into a work of art!
