RiTek USA has came up with a nifty little USB Drive. It has a two port hub built in. So, you have one usb port that the drive plugs into, and two more that are available for use. You can also daisy-chain up to six more ports. What does all of this mean? It means no more wishing that you had more ports. You have plenty! The device also has an LED status light showing which ports are in use. It’s very small, and weighs no more than 1/2 an ounce. Assorted colors are also available.

faucetREDWhen the average person wants to check the water temperature coming out of the faucet, they usually stick their finger under the running water, right? Well,in this day and age, why should anyone be bothered with the old fashion way, when you can do it the high tech way? This nifty gadget is called The Temperature Controlled Faucet Light. Here’s how it works. When the water is hot (89 Degrees Fahrenheit), the water turns red. When it’s cold, (under 89 Degrees) it’s blue. Pretty cool, huh? (No Pun Intended). It’s both fun and functional! And pretty handy for older people. It works on most USA faucets, and includes adaptors for 95% of most manufacturers. Sweet!

iRiver SPINN MP4 Player

iriver spinn 01One of the problems I have came across with mp3 players is that they are too complicated to use. You are trying to play your favorite tune, and have to remember what button to push, or what sequence of buttons to use. By the time you figure it out, if you are like me, you have either turned the thing off, or are being asked if you want to delete the song. Well, iRiver tries to solve those problems with the release of the SPINN MP4 Player. The thing iRiver wants to promote with this player is a new type of “toggle wheel” which should make it easier to find the tunes you want. Ah, back to analog technology. Features include a photo viewer, FM tuner, recording capability, Flash games (including Flash 2.0), a text viewer, and even a dictionary. The screen is a 3.2 inch WQVGA TFT-LCD with 480×272 resolution. Not to mention it is Blue tooth Stereo compatible.
The iRiver SPINN should be available sometime in the Spring. A price is not determined yet.

thumb463x 62-in-1-card readerI didn’t even know there were 62 different types of cards out there. SD, Micro SD, and the Sony cards are all that I usually deal with in real life situations. This little baby will give you acess to almost anything available, (and some that are probably not….) It also features an internal 3.5 connect bay, USB, Firewire, and SATA slots. And if you’re worried about audio jacks….your problem is solved. It has audio in and out. How much does it cost? That’s one of the best parts. It’s only $39.99; which seems a little too good to be true.
